Manage repository changes by using pull requests

Update Description

This module covers a lot of the new learning objectives but we need to review the module and make sure that the below objectives are covered within the content.

Action Items

Does the module over the following objectives?

3.2 Pull requests

  • 3.2.1 Describe a pull request
  • 3.2.2 Explain how to create a new pull request
  • 3.2.3 Describe the base and compare branches in a pull request
  • 3.2.4 Make commits on a pull request
  • 3.2.5 Draft pull requests
  • 3.2.6 Describe the purpose of the pull request tabs (conversation, commits, checks, files changed)
  • 3.2.7 Link activity within a pull request
  • 3.2.8 Explain the different PR statuses
  • 3.2.9 Comment on a posted link to a line or lines of code from a file
  • 3.2.10 Describe code review with a code owners file
  • 3.2.11 Explain the different options for providing a code review on a pull request (comment, approve, request changes, suggested changes)

Update the module knowledge check questions

  • Update the knowledge check questions to the level of the exam questions
